Terms of Service

Welcome to the NEXO Bot Terms of Service. By adding and using NEXO in your Discord server, you agree to abide by these terms. We aim to provide a safe, feature-rich, and stable experience for all users.

1. Proper Usage

Users are expected to use NEXO for its intended purposes—server management, entertainment, and utility. Any attempt to use the bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service, harass others, or promote illegal activities will result in a ban from using the bot.

2. Prohibited Actions

You agree **not** to attempt to hack, exploit, reverse-engineer, or otherwise tamper with NEXO's code, infrastructure, or operational security. This includes DDoS attacks, rate limiting, or any malicious automated attempts to disrupt the bot's service. Violations will lead to permanent bot bans and potential reporting to Discord.

3. Service Availability

NEXO is provided "as is." While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur.

4. Support

Please utilize the Support Server linked on the home page for all inquiries, bug reports, and assistance. Your support helps us maintain and grow NEXO.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is paramount. This policy outlines what data NEXO collects and how it is used.

1. Data Collection and Usage

NEXO primarily stores data necessary for its core functions, such as:

  • **User IDs and Server IDs:** Required for XP, economy, role, and moderation systems to identify users and servers.
  • **Message Data:** Stored temporarily for features like message counting, and persistently for the ticket and giveaway systems.

2. Data Retention and Deletion

Most non-essential usage data (like general message logs or temporary settings) is automatically deleted after **30 days**. Exceptions to this retention policy are:

  • Data related to active **Ticket** transcripts (for support and security).
  • Data related to ongoing or completed **Giveaways** (for transparency and record-keeping).
  • Persistent data like user levels, economy balance, and custom settings (needed for continuous bot operation).

You can request a full data deletion for your user ID or server by contacting the developers through the Support Server.

3. AI Training and Data Sharing

We believe in user trust. **NEXO Bot is not used to train Artificial Intelligence models.** Furthermore, **your data is never sold or shared with any third parties** for marketing, research, or any other commercial purpose.
